I don't usually order burgers at an Italian restaurant, but the photo of the cheeseburger at Regent's Pizzeria was too tempting to resist. I ordered the cheeseburger with truffle fries, lasagna bolognese, and spaghetti and meatballs. Although I haven't tried the latter two yet, I was completely focused on the burger--and wow, it did not disappoint! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, it was an absolute delight. I'm always impressed with the dining experience here. So far, everything I've tried from the menu has been great. Huge shoutout to the chefs and staff who consistently deliver amazing food and service. Another five stars for Regent's!

One of the only things I miss about living in the UC area is being around the corner from Regents Pizzeria. Having grown up in Chicago, I am a nostalgic sucker for deep dish pizza, and Regents doesn't fall short on filling me up on some amazing pie. Beyond their pizzas, Regents has a diverse menu, offering wings and other great grub. Also, ummm, their beer list is amazing as they often have great Russian River drafts like Pliny the Ender and Blind Pig. Parking can be a problem as they only validate for a short time- I believe an hour. But the service and the great atmosphere makes it all worth it!

If you're looking for a quick and satisfying bite after 9 p.m. and you're in the La Jolla area, this pizza spot delivers. Tucked away in a paid parking lot, I recommend scouting for street parking nearby to save a few bucks. While the area outside can feel a bit quiet and dim after sunset, stepping inside reveals a lively atmosphere. Groups of all sizes gather around different tables, with an energetic buzz in the air. The outdoor patio is especially popular, with people enjoying their slices under the night sky. The ordering process is straightforward--place your order at the counter, grab a table, and wait for your food to arrive. The service is good; everyone was very nice and helpful. It did take some time for our pizza slices to come out but the portion was generous, and the flavor didn't disappoint. The crust had the right amount of chew, and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced. While it's not a gourmet experience, the combination of casual vibes and good taste, makes this spot worth a visit. If I find myself in La Jolla again and craving pizza, I'll definitely stop by.

Large restaurant right across from student housing. We came on a Friday night and it was pretty packed. The staff were helpful and did a good job keeping up with the orders. They sell pizza by the slice, which is a plus if you're on a budget or just want something small.

Saw this place because of an Instagram post and decided to check it out. We were a group of 8. Once we arrived we saw there was ample seating inside and out. The pizzeria is an order first then sit establishment but it wasn't as busy as we expected for dinner time. We ordered a classic Chicago deep dish and a cheese NY style pizza. Along with that, we also ordered a side of garlic knots and honey bbq wings. Everything we ate tasted great! The NY pizza was a little oily and a lot of us had to use napkins to soak some of it up, but it did not take away from the overall taste. Also ask for a side of the Regents Comeback sauce to add to your wings. It has a tangy spicy kick to it but pairs well. Only downside is that you are required to pay for parking since the restaurant is within a business area, but parking is validated up to one hour if you dine in.

This was THEE spot while I went to school around the area, and this place is still one of my favorite places for pizza, drinks, and more. I highly recommend the spicy soppressata New York-style pizza and the mozzarella sticks. Their deep-dish pizza is solid, but I prefer the New York style that highlights the cheese and toppings versus the bread. Service is quick. I don't have too much to say about service, but they get the job done! This spot tends to be busy and filled with people. Finding a seat can be troublesome but don't expect to wait too long. This place is sorta of a hybrid dine-in/fast-casual spot - you get a number and they deliver the food to you. Their take out always hits. They have a HUGE draft beer menu in classic San Diego fashion. The parking can be tight and competitive to get a spot, but overall, it's fine. Make sure to validate your parking ticket for free parking. This place is nostalgic for me, so I might be biased a bit... but that being said, I'm giving this place a 4.5/5 rounded up to a 5.

Great pizza for a game night! Large beer & pizza selection (both deep dish & NY style)! TVs both indoor and outdoor with lots of seating! They played the Celtics vs Pacers NBA Eastern Conference Finals game 1 that went to overtime...it was a GREAT TIME! Milano (3/5): Great idea, but prosciutto was too salty and needed ranch to cover it up. One of the best pizza doughs I've ever had though - a perfect fluffy chew. Italian seasoning and red peppers are a great add! Caesar Salad (4/5): Can't go wrong with a Caesar Salad. The smallest size is perfect for 2-3 ppl to share on the side (or one person to eat as an entree). Love the croutons! Wish they gave more sauce though. I remember loving their deep dish pizza and wanted to give their NY style a try. The Milano isn't for me, but I will definitely come back to try other flavors!

This place is amazing. Some of the best pizza we've had in quite a while. It is fast casual, order at the counter. Quite a selection of beer as well. Service is good. - White pizza (4/5): Love the variety of cheeses, especially the ricotta. The pizza crust even was delicious, tasted fresh. - Brooklyner (5/5): Super crispy pepperoni, and again the ricotta made this 5/5. So delicious!
